The black polymer clay pendant with an obsidian effect and gold flakes was inspired by the ancient rhombus-shaped obsidian mirror found in Pompeii, in the House of the Golden Cupids. Many obsidian mirrors were found on the walls of the domus during the excavations because they apparently had the power to ward off evil spells. Made of black polymer clay and mounted on a short 18-karat gold-plated stainless steel chain.
